| CFYC YOGA ETIQUETTE
Most of us have good intentions, but it is also easy to forget so here is a friendly, loving reminder.
1 ~ Be Punctual
Be not only on time to your yoga class, be early. Make it a habit to arrive early. Nothing disrupts a class mood like the late comer!
We realize that situations do occur, however, if you do arrive late, politely prepare yourself for class at the door and have your mat ready to unroll quietly as you join the class.
Registration for classes closes 5 min after class has started.
2 ~ Turn off your Electronics
Exit the world of constant communication and step onto your mat fully liberated.
3 ~ Remove Shoes Outside
Keeping the floors clean is important to us, please leave your shoes in the lobby.
4 ~ Respecting Savasana
Help us maintain a quiet space for Savasana.
5 ~ Injuries
Inform your teacher of any injuries or medical issues you may have.
6 ~ Limited Space
When setting up your mat consider that many others may need to share the space. Please line your mat up with black tape on the floor.
7 ~ Child Care
Please be mindful of using child care if your child is sick or having a rough day.
If your child is sick or not listening to the volunteers in child care you will be asked to come out of class.
8 ~ Pre-registration
It's best to make a reservation before coming to class.
Then you will not be disappointed if the class is full, even if you have reserved a space, please check in at the front desk
9 ~ Hydrate
I always say that preparation is key for hot yoga. Drink plenty of water before, during, and after class.
10 No Stress
Yoga is non-competitive. This wonderful quality often attracts people from many levels to the same classroom. Progress is personal and about being mindful.
